In a move guaranteed to bug the crap out of Xbox owners everywhere, the PS3 version of Batman: Arkham Asylum will be the only version to allow you to play as The Joker. This is what Eidos had to say:
Eidos Interactive and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment are delighted that The Joker will be an exclusive playable character in Batman: Arkham Asylum for the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system. The character will be made available upon release as a free downloadable character through PlayStation Network for the Playstation 3 and can be played in Challenge Maps from the game.
So a big ‘Hooray!’ from PS3 owners everywhere, and a hearty ‘Boo!’ from the 360 brigade. No doubt it’ll only be a matter of time, though, before Eidos announces some exclusive treats for the Xbox version. Watch this space.
